We are delighted to announce that UK Gas have successfully recruited their latest PMO apprentices with Leicester College.
All three apprentices will complete a property maintenance operative NVQ qualification in 12 months. They will cover the following on their course:
Plastering
Painting & Decorating
Plumbing
Carpentry
Bricklaying
Electrical Maintenance
This course is on a day release- every Wednesday where the students will undergo a intense training session.

Matt Page UK Gas Contracts Manager has been working closely with the apprenticeship team and pleased that all three students will qualify in a year and have the skills and knowledge to carry out works such as, full bathrooms, kitchens and general maintenance. They have also just recruited their first female apprentice Tia!
Leicester College Apprenticeship team already work very closely with UK Gas with a number of other apprentices training in gas and we look forward to a continued partnership.
